Our Park: Limited development

This is a historical record of the self-imposed development limitations published by Naturist Legacy on the "Our Park" page of their website from 2010 to 2026. Archived files and web captures collected by the Internet Archive are cited.

History 101: Naturist Legacy appeared before the local municipal Planning Board on January 27, 2011. The board was provided with a formal Development Prospectus. It stated (among other things) that Naturist Legacy's development 'footprint' would "occupy only about 5% of our total land area" (about four acres) and that there would be "12 to 20 member-owned travel trailers...on our new property." That Development Prospectus and those self-imposed development limitations were in front of councilors when they approved Naturist Legacy's Conditional Use Permit during the Council Meeting held on March 8, 2011.

In 2010, website visitors were told that "The physical development of our land for naturist use — including the 'footprint' of our buildings and other infrastructure — will intentionally be limited in order to maintain the integrity of the natural surroundings."
